I need to replace the tower quick release hand knobs on a ProFlight Chubby tower but I haven't been able to contact anyone there. Is there a way I can get new ones somewhere?

I put some big bolts in mine when some d bag stole my quick disconnect ones. I was able to source some of the original knobs through ProFlight in Modesto also. I don;t think he kept regular business hours if I recall. I left a message a got a call back a week later.

Try nautiqueparts.com and call them if you don't see it online.

I'd try to find a match through mcmaster carr. They sell knobs similar but not sure if they have the exact ones. I can't imagine it's not somewhat generic of a part. I can pull mine and look.

Looks to be a 1/2-13 thread. 4" threaded shaft. I only saw 3" on mcmaster but I'm sure it can be found somewhere.

Not the factory part but should work I would think. I'm concerned about how long the dog point is.

I'll check and see if that matches up. I have the long bolts still but the plastic/rubber hand knob part is ruined and had to be cut off (right now I'm just putting a socket and ratchet on the bolt head to take them out).

Mine is a fully threaded bolt, it measures 4.5" long from below the head to the end, threaded the whole length. Diameter is 1/2 inch.

On McMaster Carr this looks just like the original ones: http://www.mcmaster.com/#machine-com...knobs/=11p4j5m
Doesn't look they are long enough though

Yours must be longer, mine was 4" long for the stud. It's fully threaded but only about one inch gets engaged.
