The crew is starting to get into surfing, and we're trying to get our wake dialed in. So far we havent had much luck at all. The boat is a 2001 Supra Sunsport V. Has anyone had any experience with weighting this boat or is it a lost cause?

I have an 02 Supra SSV which I think has the same hull as your boat and we have a good wake for surfing. We have the Gravity Games sacs in the ski locker and one in the rear side (left) where we surf. We also add 4-500# of people or sacs on the left side seat and cruise at 11mph. Here is our wake:

So do you just fill up the sacks on the side of the boat you're surfing? And do you have any in the middle ski locker? Thanks

My middle sac is full up (probably 900-1000#'s) and fill the side you are surfing on as well as all of the people on that side.

I am also having a problem getting a nice long wake. I have a 2003 supra ssv launch which i think is pretty much the same as the sunsport v. I found the best wake s just filling up the port side rear bag and it is a 750# fat sac. I will try adding more weight to the front this weekend. My front bag is stock I think only like 500 - 600#'s.
