I went yesterday evening and there was around 10 boats and about 10 jet skiers. Since when did they let Jet skiers on Anderson. I hate Jet Skiers. The whole Zebra Mussle inspection was $19.00. Here is my understanding if you just go to Anderson Lake the $19.00 is all you pay, but if you take your boat to another lake the Tyvek strap they put on your boat has to break to launch your boat and you have to do the inspection all over again, $19.00 is not cheap. Plus the Launch Vessel fee $7.00 and Truck Fee $6.00 that is a lot of $$ I think. $32.00 for Anderson Lake with a bunch of Jet Skiers. That Blows Goats...

Anderson is good for mid week riding! Went out there today and it "perfect." Yeah, the whole inspection thing sucks and on the weekends it's power turn city, but if you go out there during the week, you get some good water and mostly fisherman. Get out there early, get your sets in, cut out b-4 the wind picks up! Always down to ride during the week at Anderson...

Winderson that is funny. When I am looking for a new lake to take my family too. I always stay clear from the ones that advertise windsailing. Anderson sucks I know, but it is close and the Delta not.

I thought it was $6 for your car, $6 for the boat, and $7 for the inspection...so $12/$19. Or did they raise the price to pay for all these highly educated people they have running the inspections?

Danny the prices went up. Inspections are now $19.00. The lady ranger at the station told me that they are going to make it simple at the Kiosk and have it on one payment on not 3 seperate ones like now, but she didn't think the price was going to go down because of it being easier.

Yes, Anderson can be better than the Delta when you live 3 minutes from the park entrance and don't have to work on weekday mornings. Water as smooth as a baby's bottom and have the place to yourself. Other than that, Anderson sucks. If we want good water on the weekends....Delta

Soooo...even if you pay the $32 bucks for launch, and vehicle fees plus boat inspection (provided your boat is BONE DRY...otherwise you cannot even launch) then...you better get up at 8am and take some quick sets as the wind usually kicks up around 10am...ohh yah, the park gate does not open before 8am. Soo, after getting to the gate at 8am, getting your boat inspected for 5-10 mins, plus setup and everything else...provided there is no launch ramp line AND your sacks fill up ridiculously quickly your getting MAYBE 1hr and 45 mins of solid ride time....good luck with that.

Lake Anderson is a nice lake, however why not make the drive to Lake San Antonio or Lake Nas... they are some good lakes, ONLY 1hr 30 min. from Anderson. Week days are good at Anderson however summers suck!

yeah, keep paying the $32 for Anderson, you don't wanna come to the delta. Your chances of death are increased exponentially. Stay at the lakes...
