Wondering if anyone has tuned their sidewalls on the SS or Company boards? If, so how and what shape were you going for/why?

I have in the rails to set it deeper in the water, smooth it out, slow it down and prevent any such rail bite on the rails and sliders. I have the 41 Reflex.

Just like my snowboard I de-tune it, then i steeze it out.

I have my oldie beater with the middle really rounded so if I'm sliding anything unsmooth I don't worry about catching....

my new one I've left stock, it rides great as is

Tuning the boards is sick! You customize it to how you want it to ride. The more you round the edge, the slower its going to be, so if you like the board really fast, leave the edge sharp. I totally de-tune the edge on my Response by rounding it over. It makes it super chill, and I really like that. Use a wood block and 120 grit sand paper and take a little bit off and see how you like it. It doesn't take much to make quite a big difference. If you don't like it, sand it flat and make the edge sharp again.

So can you make it faster by "un-rounding" the edge? or is factory as fast as its gonna be?

Yeah the factory edge is as fast as its going to be. It comes really sharp, no rounding at all. The Response is really fast with the factory stock edge.
