I have an 07' Malibu LSV. I got the upgraded stereo for the boat. I want to add an ipod adapter to it. I can not find the model of stereo that I have. I do know that it is a Sony x-plode radio. Can someone point me in the right direction in regards to the ipod controller.

I've tried those Ipod controlers on my boat with the sony stereo, it worked like crap. I'd just use the 3.5mm plug in under the stereo.

get the new alpine marine head unit. Alpines sound awesome and you can really tune a system with it. That and they have a really good ipod connecting system and the head unit basically becomes the ipod or i think you can also get an alpine marine remote and do the same thing without using the head unit directly like if your HU is in the glove box

Mark-

Most head units say the model number on the faceplate, it just might be hard to see.

Here is a link to a couple of the sony adapters.
