when i went to the wakeboard camp i tried both and i definitely prefer the shane. The witness is a sweet board don't get me wrong, but the shane is more responsive edge to edge and has a more explosive pop. If you prefer a smooth, predictable, yet still big pop then go with the witness because the pop feels smooth and controlled. I just prefer the more abrupt pop.
