kids comp q's

can anyone tell me where I can find out more about kids comps? length of rope? boat? speed? tricks required? thanks

each comp will have a different trick list and different divisions the tricks fall into. you can tell them your length/speed. we always just used the comps rope but you can usually bring your own as well.

the tricks in the comps that i saw ranged from getting up and waving at the judge to surface tricks to 1 wake grabs/180s. then they had an advanced division as well with the bigger stuff.

the kids comps we're been to are pretty user friendly and are a really good place to start!

You should check out the International Novice Tour (INT) at http://www.intleagues.com/georgia/. I can't speak for the GA area tour but my experiences with the New England INT have always been very positive. They have many different divisions so there should be something for the first time rider all the way up to Outlaw. As stated above, the rider can choose their rope length and speed. The boats being used will vary but it should always be a legit wake boat. Good luck and have fun.
