I'm interested in thoughts as well. I've got tantrums down pat...just scared to take the next step.

I don't have a tanny, but my first attempt went quite well considering.

the best tip that I learned while 1st trying them was to not cut so hard and let the wake do the work for the tantrum part. as for the spin... once you get into the air bring your front arm out in front of your rotation and hold it there so that you will not get yanked to just a tantrum 2 blind.

I posted a cut from an old video of Chris doing one and put it on my idisk. It's in QT so you can step through it frame by frame.

One mistake i made when first trying them was getting too anxious to throw it. Just like any tech trick, BE SURE to WAIT for that pop. Also, dont let your arm get too extended when you throw it either. Make sure you keep your elbow bent so you can so you get some leverage to throw it and pull yourself back down. Good luck!
