Supra Steering Cable

There was a post on another board about replacing the teleflex steering cable for 2002 Supra SSV. does anyone know if the same part number would be used for the same year Launch SL (same as ssv, but direct drive).

possibly , although your best bet would be to look where it connects to the rudder and get the number off of there, if its not there look where it connects to the back of the steering wheel , also you need to measure it , the big thing is making sure you get the length right. Oh yeah make sure you specify whether its tilt or not, i forgot to do that and had to modify the old bracket and tilt so it would work with the cable i got

the other post was about a direct drive.....and its about 15 threads down.....

thanks for the link Andrew. how in the heck did i miss that post. that era of supras seems to have a problem w/cable failure.
