I'm thinking about building a teak swim deck. Any one built or had to repair a swim deck?

What I need to know is what kind of glue holds up being submerged in water. Also any opinions on hardware, (stainless or other).
It never sits in water for more than 3 days at a time (camping), and will never see salt water.

Any input would be great. Thanks!

Grant, I know you just fixed yours so what up "G"?

Aaaa Haaa I found this link over on PN.com
These guys have teak decks 4 sale. And some other funky stuff as well. Look around their website

You would want to try an epoxy or a good urethane glue that is designed for wet environments. Teak does not take normal glues well. Use brass for tradition or stainless for strength. Use aluminum if your braces are aluminum and you want lighter weight
Grant however has the best idea.

Test a couple of adhesives

Give Gorilla Glue a look-c its waterproof and has work very well on may teak deck projects. You can find it at The Home Depot or Lowes.
