The LSV is a bigger boat. It's longer, has more freeboard and most likely will throw a better wake. The 20SSV is a crossover boat. It's hull is based on a direct drive ski boat. Not saying it can't throw a great wake, it's just that the LSV was designed for only that, has more room and is still $3000 cheaper. They are both great looking boats, the 20SSV is sleeker and drives like a sports car.

Have you sat in either? I second Craig. Supra seems to have a better name right now, but I think after sitting in them, you'll see some big differences. I went with the 07 LSV because of the size/price, didn't like the playpen seating, loved the helm seat and the location/size of the cooler...among other reasons. We actually went to look at Supra's and ended up ordering a Moomba.

I have a 22SSV with the playpen. At first I thought I wouldn't like it but now I wouldn't buy another boat without it. Most boat makers have a filler pad as an option.

Not knocking Supra's by any means. I think Skier's Choice makes a fine product and doesn't get the credit due. I was just telling my wife, the playpen's seem to be a love/hate type things.

You get get any of the Supra's with or without the playpen. Except the 20'. It does not have a playpen. I think the 21 only has playpen. The 22 or 24 you can get with or without playpen and steps. If you run any weight in your boat and like storage and keeping things tucked away then the playpen is the bomb. I know I would only own a playpen.

I have the playpen seating and love it! A big advantage is that it allows for a much larger ballast bag up front which means a bigger wake! On top of that, having the seating through the walk-thru gives you two additional seat backs, one facing back and one facing forward.
