Strereo problem

My stereo stopped working today. Well the headunit is on but the speakers aren't producing sound. First the sound would be real low and then go up to normal volume and then finally sound just stopped and there is no music just some really anoying sound when u turn it up. Anyone know what this can be.

I had another problem too, when i would hit any wave all the power to the stereo, gauges, lights etc would cut for a second. The battery had full charge and the engine was runing fine, Is this just a loose wire?

sounds like a bad ground. are you running an amp

Bad power/ground wiring

NO question, thats a wiring problem. When you find it, rewire it as if it will be thrown around because it will.
