I went out this weekend and the lake was awful, I was riding through huge chop and some whitecaps waiting for some smooth water.
Any other FL riders have the same problem I did?

No good water? Tell you what, you can come up here to MO and get all the great water you want, but you will have to take an ice-pick to it first!

That is what you have to deal with in FL on days worth going out. In the winter, when its nice to ride temp wise, it is usually windy. When its calm, its cold. The good thing about the Winter Haven Chain is that the lakes go out in different directions, so I can usually find a smooth run.
