Ethan,
This is the worst time of the year to buy a used boat. Just doing a quick search there are very few options and anything you do find will probably be overpriced. If you can wait until sept you will have many more choices and get a better price.
Either way you are probably looking for a early 90's MC 205, CC sport, BU sunsetter or a nice big supra. Unless the only thing your interested in is a sick wake in that case I'd say get a CC 2001, (model not year) put a tower and invest in a few sacs.
Goodluck with the search

Ethan I don't know your exact situation but have you thought about buying a new boat? My first boat was a Moomba outback. I got it for 26,000 out the door with tower and trailer. I put 5 grand down and my payments were 260 a month for 10 years. Weighted properly it had a great wake. Now there are a lot of critics out there but I didnt really have any serious problems. Plus when I sold the boat I had equity. So maybe check into it.I was in your same situation and after researching it was better to buy new because you get a 300 hour warranty. If you have 15 grand down your payments wouldnt be @!#$.
