Does anyone have any good ideas for a surf board rack on an 03 X2. Is it possible to switch out the spring loaded racks with something else? Has anyone added an additional rack beyone the two stock ones?

I had one on my 03 X10. It worked really well and could haul two boards on it. It was a Skylon Tribal Surf Board Rack. I attached it the flex flyer tower right behind the front upper tower mount. The rack cost 250.00. I bought a 05 XStar at the end of last year and I kept the rack. I still have it if you would be interested in buying it. If not I was going to put it on Ebay.

Check out a new company called Dbot5. They have a sweet surfboard rack that will carry two boards of any thickness. The clamp is universal and will fit any tower right out of the box. They also have an add on attachment to carry a third board with the same rack.

Where can you find prices on the Dbot5 stuff?

i just got a new board/surf from a company call seasick at the sac boat show, it can carry 2 wake boards and a wake surf all at once, plus they use teflon instead of rubber its pretty cool.

Louis, are you talking about a standard surfboard or a wake surfboard? I'm looking at a 03 X2 and was curious as to whether or not the hyperlite board would fit in the stock rack. thanks.

03 Racks are not big enough for a Hyperlite. They are too wide

Do you have a website for Seasick? Can't seem to find one doing a search.

I have called Dbot5 twice and they do not answer the their phone. Scott, I am talking about a wake surfboard. I do not think anything but a wakeboard would fit in the 03 spring loaded board racks.

Hey loux2,

I'm a sale rep for Dbot5. The MSRP for the surfboard rack is $325 in the polished finish and it will hold two surfboards and fit any tower right out of the box. If you tell me where you live I will let you know if we have a dealer near there and they should be able to hook you up for below the MSRP. If not, ask your local dealer to order them. If they will place the order I can hook you up with some free schwag.

The website address is dbot5.com. The full site is still in the works and will be very cool once its done. Right now there is just a link to the company brochure so you can check out all of the goods.
