I couldn't resist at this price.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7200977628 I ride the Motive 134 and tear up a couple boards a year on the sliders, so I figured a backup this cheap couldn't hurt.

ryan- how can you go wrong with a board for that cheap. I usually take quite a few newbies out with me, and i have two byerly' and era and a LF Fusion, and I dont like people tearing up my boards when trying to get em in and out of the racks, or sliding around on the teak while strapping in. So we went out and bought some setup from costco by HO(i think) and threw some Alphas on it, and ive never had anyone complain about it. "The board is a POS" Have you ridden it? With a lot of used boards you dont know how theyve been ridden and could snap on you the very first hard landing you have. If your scrounging for 20 bucks then ryan i wouldnt buy it if i were you, but 20 bucks in the wakeboard worl is one ride behind someones boat, so you really cant go wrong, if even if you only ride it once. ~Tyler~

Too late, the deal is done. You seem to be intimately familiar with this GAY board. Perhaps you could elaborate on it's shortcomings or were you simply disturbed when you found out it was GAY? Nevertheless I should have 1st hand experience with my GAY board soon.

You can buy a old pro model for 40 bucks...like a zane, murray, anything that is 3 years old. even then the board was probaly only ridden 6 times. save the 20 bucks and put 30 more down for a old prodigy, that is perfect for sliders, and begginers. Sorry you had to learn on a GAY board, you should have been on this forum earlier.

Actually I had a Prodigy and didn't like it. The three fin setup was too grippy and the board felt clunky to me. Sold it for $100 in pretty much perfect condition. I wouldn't want it back, although the new ones have a removable center fin that might make it a lot better. BTW Ryan, what makes you think that I "had" to learn on a GAY board that I don't even have yet? Or is that you have ESP? Because I learned to wakeboard over 10 years ago on a Connelly Bladerunner, which by todays standards would be pretty much GAY.

Sounds like someones been sampling the wares and is a little "wound up"! j/k You should check out some of John's riding before spouting off. I've seen him ride and quite honestly seems to be one of the better riders at OWC...

Yeah I could of hacked off the center fins, but at the time I was glad to sell it to a friend in need of a board at a good price. I had thought about hacking the fins off the Prodigy, but I really didn't like it anyway. I'm much happier with the Motive. If this board doesn't ride well enough I'll just do what Tyler suggested and use it as a guest board. For $52 shipped, it's not really a concern. I was just curious if anyone that actually has rode the board had an opinion.

Thanks Eric I just bought a 1200# launch pad chair and a 600# sac for my Ski Nautique. I'm gonna try getting back into riding behind the boat as well. Maybe Ryan can hook me up with Team Viagra.

to all of you who dont realize there is a decimal point in my income. here it is. 100,000.00$ do you all see. the decimal falls after the 6 numbers in front. one more note. research my profession prior to making your assumptions.

Drug reps can do very well. He's young but MIGHT be able to make that much including stock options if he is with the right company that has a super hot product right now before the patent runs out or before the competition comes out with something better. Or before a couple people croak and a class action suit is initiated. But Ryan, it is completely ridiculous that we even are on here having the opportunity to discuss your salary. Why did you even bring that up? VERY immature. Just because a person makes a lot of money, that's no reason to act like a jackass. Nobody likes an a-hole, wealthy or not. In your line of work I know you are highly skilled at kissing ass to medical professionals all day long, but that does not make it OK for you to come on here and take out your frustrations out on us or act mean to people and make them feel bad for no reason. Who do you work for anyway? Phizer? Merck? Forrest? Takeda? You've not been on wakeworld that long, and you never know who is on here, or who might know who. As Umali has demonstrated, you never know when or how things will come back around to you. Best of luck to you. I mean you no ill will. (Message edited by dococ on December 02, 2005)

I find it interesting that this arseclown is a Drug rep.....Oh wait then again many of the younger Reps are obnoxious. You see it especially while they're pushing their product. I also find it really interesting that they can only regurgitate information fed to them. What a bunch of sheep BAAAAAAA BAAAAAAA BAAAAAA

My experience is more in line with what Daniel has written. But in any case, IT'S IRRELEVANT! What's much more important is has Ryan been able to learn anything from this little spanking, and is there any chance that it will stick with him? Or is he so narcissistic and defensive that he will not have the capacity to take an honest look at his behavior and contemplate why he has generated such a reaction from all the rest of us? Could go either way, I suppose... (Message edited by dococ on December 03, 2005) (Message edited by dococ on December 03, 2005)

Did that kid SERIOUSLY throw up his INCOME? What does that have to do with how "gay" a board is? Oh, and last I checked, a LOT of people make 100g's a year. I would NEVER post my income on a public discussion board. What kind of tact is that? Seriously, brah, you might want to check yourself. If you are a good rider like someone said (which I'm not doubting), you may be wanting to pursue more from the sport. Like it's been said before, you never know who checks this board. A lot of readers are potential sponsors that won't vibe on someone being an ass. I check this board often to see what my riders are saying- anything can reflect on our shop. -Courtney (Message edited by CorkySWx2 on December 03, 2005)

How many profiles does he have by the way? One says he is 24 which doesn't seem quite right due to his attitude. The other profile says he has only posted 5 times (which is probably all on this thread). Anyway that board for 22 bucks is a deal. I would have bought it as well.
