I just want to say thanks to Steve and Lisa Bates, Jeff and Cindy Frew, Brandon and Alicia Poser for an awsome end of the season weekend in Vegas. Its nice to hang out with the friends we have made through wakeboarding in a different atmosphere. That is what I love about this sport. Good times!!!

How do you walk out of a casion with $200? You walk in with $400...

I know, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but here's my version of what happened this weekend:

Me and Mrs.PC sit in traffic, meet up with Bates', who have also been screwed by traffic. Steve taught me a new word, It's a German word that means It's a great word, I really like it, trying real hard not to wear it out, but I probably already did. Call Posers & Chuck, they are already in Vegas. Steve says in an effort to be more efficient, he's gonna run into the casino, empty his wallet on the floor, then on the way out give the security the finger, so that he can wake up broke with a black eye the next day, without all the technicalities of playing the games. I told him he could have just come over to my house for that.

3 hours later, we check in to the MGM Grand, find Chuck, Brandon & Alicia in the poker room. Chuck & Alicia had already hit a slot machine earlier for $500. Except for Chuck, we all shoot to the bar for a couple of rounds of beer, slurpees, & jello shooters. Back to the casino, I drop $40 at a blackjack table in less than 4 minutes. O.K., off to a good start, go to roulette, work my way from $40 up to $100. Ask Steve if I should walk away? No, I stay, go from $100 to $0. Note to self, do the exact opposite next time. Bates looses a few $ but not too much. Brandon puts some $ on black, Steve tells him he's in for a t-bagging if he wins... About 1am, we check on Chuck, who is still on the same chair at the poker table. Been there for 7 hrs. straight, trying to figure out where he was peeing (beer bottle?) and if the chair was gonna stick to his ass when he got up. As we leave, Steve puts $100 chip on red as we walk by a roulette table. He walks with 2 $100 chips...

Head up to the rooms about 1:45 get some sleep. Middle of the night I hear Lisa sleep talking "I will never let this information fall into German hands..." I think Steve is awake, plays into it "Ve have vays of making you talk, frauline, ve vill have zee information..." O.K...

Wake up around 7, go downstairs, Starbucks for everyone. Got there just in time, hour later, the line is out past the next room Starbucks stand for people waiting in line for Starbucks... Good breakfast, then take the monorail up the strip to the Sahara, Cindy wants some new ink at one of the tattoo places up there. Truck pulls up at a stop light on the street, the door reads "Full Service Asians to your room - (702) XXX-XXXX" everyone laughing hysterically, try to get a picture of it before the light changes. Wonder if they would bring a pizza & wash my car (it said full service). Hook up with Johnny at the tattoo shop, Lisa stays with Cindy while the rest of us go to the Stratosphere. Big line to go to the top, we pass, check the shops. Alicia, Brandon, & Chuck got to the oxygen bar for some fresh O2 & massages. Dude standing out front of it checking it out & smoking. Isn't that kinda counterproductive? Cindy is done (nice work), meet up with everybody to head back. Stop in at the NASCAR Cafe, ride the coaster. Lisa & Alicia screaming their brains out. Good ride, everyone laughing. Back to the Sahara to catch the monorail, on the way Chuck drops $20 in a slot, 6 or 7 pulls and he wins another couple hundred. From that time forward only Chuck is allowed to pull the slots.

Back to the MGM, take the long way, stop at the Bellagio to pick up show tix, Mandalay Bay to make some sports bets, Brandon, Chuck & Alicia hit the poker room again. Lunch at Rainforest Cafe in MGM. Good stuff. Lisa, Steve & I Shoot across the street to NYNY, ride the coaster. Steve bets Lisa she couldn't go with out screaming, something about dirty sanchez or something... Lisa screaming her brains out again, all of us laughing hysterically after because the ride picture of Steve was off the wall. Back to the casino for more roulette & blackjack. I go from $50 to $125 at blackjack, but just like before, stick around long enough to leave empty handed... Head up to the room for a nap before dinner.

Chuck picks up the tab & makes us eat raw fish & rice, drink sake at this upscale Japanese restraunt in MGM. Of all the nerve...(J/K Chuck, Can't believe you did that, it was so nice, Thank you!!!!). After dinner, Chuck, Alicia & Brandon hit the poker room again, Steve, Lisa, Cindy & I take the monorail to the Bellagio, to see Cirque Du Soliel / O. Man what a show!!!! Spectacular, I would see it again in a heartbeat. We also see a lady with very, very large breasts that were pointing up in a very strange way...O.K., maybe she got hold of some bad silicone or something... Back to MGM, more roulette. noticed that if a roulette player is not paying attention, the dealer will take chips that sit on balck/red 2:1 winners. Watched it happen 3 times with 2 reversals on the instant replay after the pit boss came over (3rd time, the player was on the cell phone, never noticed or questioned it). Go figure. 3am, Steve, Lisa, Chuck & I head up to the room (18th floor), elevator stops at the 17th to let some drunk kids off, door opens, Steve, without missing a beat says "Wow, there's something you don't see every day" I look out the door, there's some middle age guy just hanging out by the 17th floor elevator at 3:15am wearing nothing but shorts, back turned to us, enough back hair to cover a bison. He must have heard Steve, because he turned around, the door closed, and we all just bust up. Only way it could have been any funnier would be if the elevator was full. We laughed all the way down the hall, to our room. Laughed so hard I started to snort. Lisa was still cracking up in the bathroom, we could hear her through the wall. Still busting up in bed for the next hour...

Wake up @ 9...too late for Starbucks, Oh well. Shower, clean up, check out. Steve gives Chuck & I early Christmas presents (I love 'em, can't wait to put some miles on 'em!!!! Thanks Steve!!!. Bates's & Porkchops's head to the Palms for brunch & check out Hart & Huntington. Big line outside H&H, nice place, though (Johnny also works there), have brunch (note to self: If there is bread pudding around, don't waste time or effort on anything else) Finish brunch, get in car, drive home for 6 hours ( traffic, again). Think that pretty much covers it all. The End.

I have never been disappointed in that city, ya gotta love Vegas. I had an awesome time (the voice of Beanie "Every knows you had an awesome time, Frank")

Thank you Cindy, Chuck, Brandon, Alicia, Steve & Lisa for the great time, and for putting up with me, being the dork that I am. Can't wait for the next one!
