I'm hoping to fall in love with the Twelker board. I get to demo one this weekend. Although, it's hard to imagine anything being better than the Reverb. It's absolutely perfection.
And I have huge respect for Dowdy, but he's killing me with those graphics.
Same I do not like the oddly new graphics and I would love to here some good feed back on twelkers new standard I really want to like it too
The new Slingshot line looks sick! Way better than the 2014 gear, which did eventually grow on me a bit. But next year's stuff looks awesome.
Some new boards in the line. The Nomad is an interesting concept, sizes 150 / 155 and 160 cm? That is huge..... Wonder how wide it is? A 160 would give 2" more in the tip and the tail vs. a 145. The biggest board I'd ever heard of was when LF has a 147 (don't remember the model) and I think the largest today are like a 146. At 6'3" and 220 I'd be very interested to give it a ride, although I find the 146 recoil to be way too wide. Surface area is good but there is a fine line.....
Love how they seem to color-coordinate from year to year. The 2014 boots (including my bright green RADS) would still look good on most of the new 2015 boards.
rusty is getting a new shape this year from what I have heard. I suspect marek is discontinued and kruz is the new shape and board for rusty from here out
Looks like rusty and harley are both going to have 2 pro model shapes this year in their line up. I guess they need backup sticks when they battle it out on the tour
Click the link above for some of the 2015 Slingshot gear in action. Looks like most of the product is staying the same, but changing up the graphics. Kinda wish they would have more wood showing thru the top deck of the board. No biggie tho. Still looks rad as hell. Couple new shapes in there. That Nomad board is HUGE. Wonder how they will advertise the use of that thing.
I'm not an expert on the subject, but I know for a fact that a lot of Ronix info in this thread it wrong. The orange bottom board in the pic is a totally new board.
Crazy to see the big companies like Obrian and LF taking styling queues from a growing company like Slingshot. The new LF Rant grom board so blatantly mimics last year's SS Super Grom its not even funny. Guess that means they're doing something right though.

Really Mr. ttime41? You cannot continue to try and hide Slingy's time traveling abilities. Everyone knows about them, Ttime. The Rant was clearly stolen by last year's Super Grom. The people deserve to know about what's really going on. I expect to see many graphics in years to come also making it evident that SlingShot is traveling to the future and stealing graphics from bigger companies. It's downright ridiculous.

Moby Nick! How dare you spread falsities about a simple company that thrives on its ability to create a majestic riding experience out of 100% good wood. I am appalled!

Yeah good wood is definitely the way to go. I can't believe ANYONE would ever even consider riding a foam or hybrid core ever....
Wow, the LF line designs are by far the least appealing among the companies this year. I mean, it's like they time warped to the 90s! Sorry, no offense to the people who worked hard tor these designs but I think this year's line isn't gonna grow on me!
You would expect companies would step up for a 2015 line. The DG Tao wakeboard and Peak are horrible graphics wise, while the Deluxe and Raph are lazily similar to last years. Raph's gotta be the nicest among the cable boards.
So far Slingshot has the best lineup!

Really sad attempt by LF...especially when it's their 20 year anniversary. Not too much new designs or innovation. A lot of same boards with slightly different graphics. Raph boots look exact same. Watson Classic is the exact same graphic. Just laziness beyond belief. Just try a little more so I can believe what I'm buying from you would be worth my time and money. As of right now, I'm not convinced. Slingshot all the way. Future of wakeboarding right there.
i actually like the LF graphics. Most are pretty simple which is fine by me, although I think the peak is awful.
I don't like the slingshot graphics. I think they are far too busy for a top sheet and I'm not really into the bad comic looking graphics either. I would like to try one though. To my knowledge, no dealer in the area.

Let's not even talk about graphics. Just innovation alone, LF has been a let down for 2015. I mean, they've had the exact same shapes for some of those boards for YEARS. No changes at all. At first, I assumed that they were doing something right...if it ain't broke, don't fix it attitude. Now I think, it's just a business thing and they keep the same exact models year after year for the $$$. Which is fine, I get it, you need to make money. But really???? LF couldn't find ANY way to make the Watson Classic or Witness any better? Nothing with the thickness or weight of the board, or materials used in the core of the board? I get that those two boards are just easy ways to pay the bills for them, but it's still just amazingly lazy. 20 year special....not quite. Ronix and Slingshot clearly don't do it for the sole purpose of money. They have a vision of bettering the consumer's wakeboarding experience on the water. They continue to make changes and tweaks so that they stay ahead of the curve. Let's not talk about graphics, let's talk about innovation. I could care less what the board looked like as long as I had an amazing experience while riding it. That's why I choose Slingshot. Makes me feel like a kid again every time I ride it.
THANK GOD THE PHOENIX MADE A COMEBACK! sickest board i've ever ridden, so glad i didn't broke mine this year
It's going to be a litte bit different than the Phoenix, but it's a good different. It'll fit the same niche that the Phoenix did. Bottom rails and core are new.
The thing that kills me about liquid force is that they refuse to admit there is a durability issue. Can't even remember at this point how many of my friends have broken liquid force boards riding boat.

Agree with that. My last two liquid force boards broke in just a few sets. Had a classic and probably broke in less then 10 sets and a witness that broke in less then a week.

i bought a classic at the beginning of this season (around may) and it has yet to show signs of breaking....maybe that means i'm not charging it as hard as y'all lol.
I'm really interested in that baseline but unfortunately the website isn't updated with the video/description for it, just pictures. I'm wondering if JD will just ride his Webb board for boat and cable this year since his B-side is gone now and all of his boat edits this year were on the B-side. Overall, I'm liking the line and the new surfers from Hyperlite.
The '14 Limiteds and the '15s are basically the same besides the color. The main difference from the regular '14s is the toe strap that gives the option of more of a true toe-cap fit on the limiteds/'15s.
Hey guys can you please do me a favor and take this survey about wakeboard winches. I need 300 responses and only have 8. Thanks have a nice day! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NKQK9HQ
has anyone felt that the slingshot evershred base is super sticky on semi-dry rails? obviously a board is gonna be sticky on dry rails but it seems that slingshot is extra dry. it also seems too slippery when it's not sticking? I only tried a Windsor for one set but other than the grind base it felt sick. do you just get used to it? I'm used to LF boards and the grind base feels good on pretty much any rail.
I'm really liking the graphics of some of these boards, The Murray, the SOB and the Baker, but most of the O'Briens and the CWB's look like they are still designed for skiboards in the 90's.
