Maximium Capacity Sticker

The sticker that tells you yours maximium capcity and amount of people has come off and I need another. I have a 95 Moomba and I called Moomba, but skiers choice can't issue me one becasue they didn't own the moomba company untill 1996. Does anyone know where I could get the sticker or one like it.

Why do you need one?

You are not required to have one if your boat is a certain size. I'm not exactly sure what that size is but it's either 20'6" or 19'6". After that the governments expect you to be smart enough to not want to drown yourself.

I was hopeing that I didn't need one, but if I could get a new one for a couple of bucks I would. my boat is 18'10" so I guess I need one?

You could contact whoever licenses your boat and ask them what to do. Or whoever enforces the regulations. There must be a method for dealing with a home-built or with a boat in your situation. You could put it to them that you are looking at buying a boat but it doesn't have one and what should you do.
They might have a state sticker they can issue

I have never been pulled over before and where i ride hardly see a patrol. I dont know if thats something they would check normaly. If not I probably just wont worry about it.

I have an 82 nautique and mined does not have one either. I contacted a local Nautique dealer and they could not get them either. I was told that it was not neccessary. I have been pulled over and the guy did not look for it.
