Will plastic bed liner material stick to wood ?

I want to add a 3rd blue top to my system and want to make new battery boxes. I was thinking instead of using plywood with fiberglass resin like I have used in the past I would try to spray the boxes with that plastic polymer that you use for bed liners. My question is will that plastic polymer material stick to marine grade plywood or is just for metal applications ?

I've seen people who rhino-lined teak swim platforms, btu have heard of issues with it. I have a friend who rhino lined an MDF sub box abotu month ago and it's held up fine.

I think that stuff will stick to just about anything. It is kind of like tar I think.

just make sure the shop knows what they're doing. The wood has to be properly primed and prepped before the spraying in order for it to work properly and last...

I've done several amp boards and sub boxes with Line-X and have had no problems. I find it a easy way to water proof wood and I think look good when done. My only caution is don't think that becasue it's thick stuff that it will hide any flaws in your workmanship....it won't.
