I just sold my boat this morning and I'm looking for another.

One of the boats i'm looking at is a 94 sport nautique with 500 hours the upholstery and engine are good, hull needs some wax but is okay and the trailer is a POS. First of all is it a good boat and second any idea what kind of price I should be looking at for it?

If I do get this boat which there is a good chance I will. What is the best choice in tower? Titan just lowered the price of the series 1 to 1200 which is on par with the monster tower. I like the looks of the titan better but looks aren't everything. Which would you go with?

Lets hear some opinions, Thanks

I love the titan towers. I put one on my 1988 mastercraft tristar 190 which I sold last year and then bought a 1997 super sport nautique which I also put a series 1 on. I will attach a pic for you. I don't think you can go wrong with the titan. solid tower and folds down easy which is the main reason I bought it. I fold it down every time to put on my lift. I can do it myself and it takes about 20 seconds to do. Upload

We also have a lift and the titan towers seem really easy to fold down. It's a very simple tower which I like. Stan it's funny you mention the tristar 190 cause thats what I just sold this morning same thing except 89.

I have a 1994 sport nautique and I chose a new dimension towers, just because it looks like the FCT that correct craft has. This is a picture before it was powdercoated. Upload

This is my first boat and I like it very much, as the boat we came from was a 99 four winns, I just wish I could have found a nautique super sport. The reason I got the boat was one of our storage customers was selling it and it was at a good price. Here are a few pics of the wake.

The website is www.newdimensiontowers.com Wayne the owner is a very nice guy, we drove 15 hours from Iowa to Tennessee just to have him install it and it was well worth the trip. The cost is 1995.00 with free shipping. I got mine for 1700.00 and without powder coat because i got it coated blue.

Brian,
That wake looks great. What do you run for weight? How much and where is it placed. Also with the new dimensions tower can you have it folded with the cover on? I ask cause the lift I have has height restrictions and no cover on it. So I either need a tower that can fold and still have the cover on or one that can go under the cover.

I'd go w/ the titan. I've installed both now, and both were easy, but the titan was a little easier. IMO it looks better also. Haven't ridden behind the monster, but the titan is very stiff.

Does anyone have any idea how much I should be paying for the boat?

I run about 1400lbs, 1140 in the rear and the rest up front, and yes you can have the tower folded with the cover on. paid 12000.00 for mine with no trailer.

Thanks Brian, thats right about what the dealer wants. He wants about $1000 more for a pretty rough trailer and the boat isn't in as good of shape as yours. It's still a good deal and if I can get a wake the size of yours I'll be really happy. The wake on these boats is great for their age.
