I just bought a pair of the new closed toe Hyperlite Murray Bindings, and got a chance to ride them last weekend. The water temp was 44 degrees, and the closed toe boots really kept my feet warm. With those boots and a drysuit I was able to ride without much discomfort in that cold water. Those bindings are money!

the question is...will summer make your feet melt in their own bindings?

And the answer is No. I honestly didn't notice much of a difference once I was up, except they are very comfortable.
