ok, so if im going to compete at the novice level, what tricks do you get points for? do you get points for an ollie? or a butterslide? wake to wake jumps? what about surface tricks? cuz i can 180 (1w), i can indy grab, jump both wakes, and some other small things like that... anything else i should be able to do?

the last stop I was at the novice people for the most part did Heelside jumps (try to get a grap, and hold it) and try at least one 180. If the wake is big bring yourself in a notch or two so the wake isnt so wide.

Ya Grant, all the above. Just go out and enter the next comp, and throw down what you got and see what happens. The worst thing that can happen is that you had a great time, and met alot of great people to go out and ride with.
