I have a spectra line, and it just spends its time getting tangled. Leave it for a second, and it tangles.
Jacket lines are so much nicer.

jackets are cool but they are not the least stretch i have a jacket for everyone in the boat to use and a spectra that stays with MY setup only it tangles easier.

jacket.

my jacket does not stretch, due to the spectra core.

i really also liked my old masterline spectra fusion, it was really thin and really light and didn't tangle much, however it was not impervious to wear and tear.

Joe I don't believe that was an option!

It's true though - I use the Stryker rope from Hardline - quality stuff...

Just thought to add an option that might work out better.

My Microfusion is really stiff, but it's true that it always finds it's way to tangle.

Check out the new Thermal line from Straight Line. It's a spectra core with a hard plastic coating so it doesn't tangle at all. It almost feels as stiff as a cable and costs the same as a jacket.

Accurate jacket, it doesn't stretch at all, it doesn't tangle, they last forever, and they float well. I'd drop the money on a jacket, whichever brand, it's just worth the money, it'll save you in the long run.
