Picked up the new SE450 a couple weeks ago from Rinkers Boat World in Houston. Awesome experience once again with those guys.

The SE is definitely a beast. Coming from the SA last year you can feel the difference. Although I was worried initially that it may be slightly too big I quickly figured that. It to be the case. I love the extra space as does the wife. Slightly less freeboard than the SA it still holds its own in the cabin and you really can't tell in the cabin at all.

I couldn't be happier with the boat so far and the performance and fuel economy are almost dead on with what my SA was.

I will say I haven't had the chance to do much boarding behind the SE but so far because of the weather I give the edge to the SE on Surf and the SA on wake.

She's a beauty. I really dig what Supra's done the last 4 years and I hear Autowake is one of the best innovations yet.

Honestly I haven't messed with auto wake just yet but it seems like it will be a great tool to have once you get your wave dialed in.

I usually get people where I want them and leave it.

I'm looking at the option of an attached garage 13wx40dx12h with a door opening of 11x11.

I have been looking at Supra's myself and don't care much for the pickefork bow of the SE. I am a surf only guy and was wondering about the SG. Just a foot shorter but same hull correct? So in theory should surf just as well. Thoughts on the SG compared?

Beautiful boat by the way!

I haven't spent much time in SG but it has the best Surf wave of the group according to the tests that have been done. I had intentions of looking at one myself but Dealer didn't have one available at that time. However I do like the picklefork and so it wasn't a huge deal for me.

Go demo one and I bet your not disappointed!!

Ive had a chance to get about 25 hours in on the new SE. The boat has definitely lived up to its hype. The overall performance has been better than I expected coming from the SA which I didn't think could be outdone. At first I wasn't real excited about the Wakeboard wake compared to the SA but once I got it dialed in it is every bit as good. The SE to me seems to like the rear weight more than the SA does and has a slightly more pronounced lip.

I have also been very pleased with the performance and the fuel consumption on the SE with the 450 Raptor.

Anyone know how the SE compares to the SAN230 or G23? I'm torn, the Nautique pedigree and theor loyalists make it seem like owning anything else is a fools game. Im thinking the price difference would be negligible (based on the fact these are 100k$ plus toys...) Curious to hear the opinions.

I have zero time in a 230 but have been in a 17' G23 and own the 17' SE.

The SE matches up really well with the G. It has more room overall, but a little less freeboard. The G has a few little touches that you may like over the SE but when it comes to performance these two boats are as close to any as I have been in.

I will give the interior to the G just for a few details that CC put into them that no other boat has but when it comes to performance behind the boat it is very close competition.

The wave on a SE is better overall to me than the G. It is smoother, longer and cleaner than the G from my experience in the two. The G has a step in the wave for some reason, almost like it has 2 lips on the wave.

The Wake is such a tight race IMO as they both are real similar in shape and size. They both have a lip on them in which gives you that effortless BOOST without being too harsh. As much as I love my SE the edge on the wake could go to the G, but that depends on the rider preference.

I will also say my 2 Supras have been problem free and that means a lot. Less time in the shop more time on the water!!!!

After about a half season of owning our SE last year I found out it likes the rear weight as well. Makes a much more pronounced lip

I am at 30 hours on SA and it's an amazing boat. It feels big for 23 foot boat. The simple things like rear surf locker, storage everywhere, and awesome captains helm make every trip a blast. The rear facing seats in Supra are top notch and allow 7 people to face backward. Supra is putting out the most top tier boat for the money! You are going to love it Connolly!
