I think that might be a little too much low end for me . Id hate to be burning a ton of fuel just cruising around .What kind of boat did you have it on and how did it perform ?

Go for the 911 and NEVER look back. Top speed will suffer, but V210's aren't super comfy over 30 mph imho.

like I said I'm just afraid that its too much prop ..We are cruising as much as we are towing kids and stuff. I just would hate to be revving the crap out of it all the time . I don't feel like the comfort suffers any over 30 mph either I frequently run around at 30mph or better for extended periods of time . Running up to Stockton from Discovery Bay is a long haul especially if your revving like crazy . Id trade one of the 2 just about perfect 425's I have for a 911 . Then I would have both props from both ends of the spectrum . But if I'm outright buying I want a 515 or 525.

lost 2 or 3 mph when I went to 911. top end is 42. 911 FTW
to answer your question, I paid 175 IIRC for a reheated prop as a backup. I would think 200'ish if its like new and never heated

yep. I don't remember what I had. Whatever was stock on v230, would run 45. dinged it, borrowed one from local shop. dinged that, ordered my 911. dinged the 911 and put the backup on and still rocking it. need to send it off. No help, I know...

911 saved gas out the hole. You it cruises just fine. Mines never been heated or damaged just sold the v210 with the stock prop. I got for $250 in discovery bay. It cost me 400$. I only use right hand rotation props now. Lol

I have a new 525 for my DLX coming on Monday. Not a V-drive, but I think the DLX and V210 are the same or really close to being the same. I'll post how it performs after I test it out on Wednesday. I currently have a 4-blade, 13 x 13 1/2 stainless steel prop installed and I top out 43-44 lightly loaded WOT.
This thread is extra interesting to me because I have two backup props that came with the boat that I am going to be putting up for sale soon.

don't forget that a good prop shop can often re-pitch older props!

Oh cool please do come back and let us know what a difference the 525 makes . The Acme guy recommended either the 515 of the 525 to me .
What are the back up props you might be selling ?
I have the MAG EFI engine my boat cruises at 35 no problem and has a more to go but I dont really ever run it flat out . I guess im getting old haha
I just peeped your boat in your profile its really nice I wish I had a white Proflight tower to match my boat .

Pretty sure the DLX and the V210 are virtually the same hull with the engine in different places.
