I know the shots will not be great, but can anyone recommend a good waterproof? I am looking at the olympus models, but any suggestions?

What kind of depth are you looking to use it at?

I have the olympus 1030sw and I love it. Very happy so far, it's good down to 33ft but I haven't gone that deep. Takes average video and quality shots for a point and shoot.

Have the same camera as Matt, from Costco. I really like it... but it isn't anything fancy. If budget was not a concern, I lust over the Canon G10 ($500) and the waterproof case that you can buy for it for another $80 or so (if I remember right). That camera takes amazing photos...

Check out the new canon D10. We just bought one for work and it's awesome. Takes great pics and video. I should "borrow" it for a few days and test its wakeboard capabilities.

This review might help you decided on one.

so i actually sell these cameras. the olympus models are def great cameras. the tough 8000 is great for deep depths. it also has a reinforced screen. the only thing is that it only has a dual image stabilizer so if u take shots in low light u might end up with a some blurry shots. do not use the waterproof fuji. they are garbage,

Just check the thread. I think I am going to pick up a Canon D10. I like the 33' depth and I don't like the finger grabber lens placement on the Lumix.
