My mom finally couldn't take watching from the boat any longer yesterday and had to get on the water. I straped her in to my LF Shane 140 and pulled her up gently and she was up and riding behind the boat on the first try. She slalomed for 15 years but hasn't been on the water for the last 20. I am going to get her her own setup so we don't have to change bindings back and forth and she wants "her own". She probably won't be going w2w but she would like to learn to carve and some one wake jumps so which board should I get her from the two choices?

Liquid Force Diva 139
Liquid Force Melissa 138

I realize the two boards are on opposite ends of the spectrum from beginner/advanced standpoint but I can get them both brand new for the same price. Like I said she rode my LF Shane and it is known to be squirelly.

the diva is a good stable and forgiving board. She should like it.

Bonus its cheap to you can find a set up for under 200 bucks

if they're the same price, you may as well get the melissa.
