I read MC has enough boats in stock to carry on for two years. BU not far behind them?

GE is not signing any NEW dealers. If a dealer goes under (COPE) they need to find anyone to take on that line in that territory. Regardless of what other lines they carry.

the dealers that don't have much inventory and have their buildings payed off will stick around. anyone that has a 10K-15K morage or lease each month will mostlikely have a real tuff time making it.

Michael- i heard the same thing. Tige was smart and did't force their dealers to order a lot of boats when they noticed the economy crashing which means there isn't hundreds and hundreds of old inventory left over threw the states.

Ryan, do you know much about the new Seattle Tige dealer? They sell Crownline's and may start selling Four winns as well. They just took on the Tige line last summer and moved into a really nice showroom on Lake union in downtown seattle. I have to imagine their lease is 20-25k a month. Not sure how they are going to make it with overhead like that.

Most of the dealers have additional lines the inboard market is only a narrow slice of the market. My CC dealer also sells 4 wheelers, motorcycles,snowmobiles.trikes.pontoons and IOs. Only makes sense to diversify.

My Sanger dealer is also my crack dealer, so he's good, I think.

But he's like a nice crack dealer though right. Like, "You guys wanna' buy some crack? No? It's cool then."

does he talk smack on other crack dealers or get mad when you search for crack prices online and try to low ball him? Does he offer a rewards/rebate program?

Remember, when you are buying your crack, you are also buying the crack dealer. A crack dealer is just as important as the quality of the crack itself. A bad experience with your crack dealer will most certainly ruin your high.

If you know good, dependable, reliable crack when you see it, it doesen't matter what crack dealer you buy it from!

If you buy 75k worth of crack, will he give you 25k back in three years if you fill out some paperwork correctly?

no no guys you are missing the finest detail of a crack dealer. When i go to see my crack dealer, i want him to bring in the other major dealers and for them to go pipe to pipe and see whos better. And because he's the best, hes the only one with the cajones to do so

I think we will see a few inboard manufacturers sell off or go under in the next 3 years, not to mention countless dealers.

The inventory at some of the dealers I've driven by is staggering.

Brett- I've never met those guys or heard much about them. They better have a big back pocket to keep making those payments. Best of luck to them. This thing isn't going to turn around this year. Might start to get better in 2010 but nothing like we had in 06.

MCs lot is full of boats but the parking lot is pretty thin with cars and not much going on on the floor not a good sign.

CC is blowing out the old stock 07,08 boats
You can get a killer deal. I was told they only had 28 210s over the entire country and when they are gone the price will go back to norm. They sold 6 the first day I don't know if any are left.Mine is coming out of California.

In Kansas City the CC-Nautique/Tige dealer went under about 3 months ago.

Just as recently as a week or two ago the Moomba/Supra dealer went under.

We still have a Malibu dealer.

We don't have Mastercraft, Sanger, Supreme, MB, or Wakecraft dealerships that i know of.

The Heckel's bankruptcy auction was yesterday and Skipper Buds acquired the Eagle River Marina and all equipment from Eagle River and Lake du Bay. Another party acquired the Lake du Bay marina property. Does anyone know who got the Malibu franchise?

We heard about MC. Anyone know about BU?

Plowman's Marine in Woodruff is supposed to have the line. Not much on their website except all of the new boats in the inventory section.

Only 28 2008 SAN 210s in the country? Hard to believe. My local dealer has two and they are not that large.

Funny, I didn't realize Plowman's was a CC dealer until I just looked at their site. I guess with Watercraft Sales' sponsorship of the Min-Aqua Bats, I just assumed they were the only CC dealership in the Lakeland area. Wow, Plowman's will have both CC and BU.

All the dealers in the Lakeland area better do some recon on Skipper Bud's service department. If they run Eagle River like their store in Pewaukee, it will be a strong competitor on service.
