The Byerly Hook

So i just saw Retrospect and it was amazing! If you haven't seen it you should cuz its your history and its amazing! Anyway if you've seen it, what is the Byerly hook? I think its just the way Byerly hooks his arm around his back when he lands. Tell me if i'm wrong. Theres a huge section in the movie on that. And for those of you who haven't seen it, go buy, it download, steal it from a friend, but it is a must see!

It's how he "hooks" his arm in that elbow bent position he rides in. Watch his trailing arm when he's riding.

thats what i though. i dont think he does it much any more since he uses his back arm for balance when he wakeskates. This is kind of a dumb thread huh!?
