binding choice

i was wondering which bindings to get its between the 07 liquid force element or the 08 liquid force index. which one is better?

what qualities are you looking for in a binding that makes you choose those two?

i would say index just because all of LF binding tech is starting to flow down into there lower level stuff this year. the index is the "evolution" of the element so its relatively the same boot but with all the upgrades. the index has a no-hardware design and the new F2 plate so the boot is much lighter and more user friendly. unless you like the look of the element better, i say index.

I would buy an 06 or 07 high end LF boot off of eBay or from one of the wake stores that have a closeout section. I think that would be a better use of your money as opposed to buying an beginner/intermediate brand new. The Transit is a great choice, the Alphas are pretty good, the Sphynx is a good choice if you want a good bit of flex. Just my opinion, a good set of bindings can make all the difference.
