Post up some pictures/designs for a wakeboard rack in like a garage or home. Preferably a rack that holds multiple boards and is free sanding.

i second the "do it yourself" from home depot. made mine with 1 2x4, 1" wood drill bit, 18' of 1" pvc, and 18" of foam wrapping the pvc.... spent less than $40.

Made from 3/4" black pipe and foam insulation - mine is bolted to the wall, but I dont see why you couldn't make it free standing.

A buddy of mine made these for me. I don't know if he still makes them but they're sweet. Umali has a few of the smaller ones I think.

James Adams,
I have only ridden the 08 Roam once in Feb. and it was brief. I have an 05 Roam and love it! I suspect i'll love the 08 as much. I did not have the bindings set just like I wanted them when I went out in Feb.. plus I was trying NOT to fall! They are a blast on smooth water.

Ha! Ian - I was looking at the pic and recognized the purple surfer.

Less than 3 months, and you get to see my pretty face again! Lucky you!

I got the racks from Home Depot for 5 bucks a set. I've posted pictures before but can't find them now. I'll get new pics soon.

Ian.. I'm liking your set up the most so far. Of course Hahn's is pretty sick but a lot more was invested in those as far as money and time. Ian, if you could provide a little more info on what exactly is going on there I'd love to know!

It is just 3/4" schedule 40 black pipe from home depot, I cut the tubes and welded them together. After it was done, I covered it with the insulation foam for 3/4" pipe. Probably about $30-40 in materials.

So what amount of boards is most common for people to want to store? I understand some people have a lot! but would a 2 board, 3 board, or 4 board rack make the most sense for the most people?

My solution hangs from ceiling and cost about $15. I hung over the boat so I can get them down while standing in the boat. No ladder needed. 10ft ceiling height.

With this 10 ft bar, I have four boards, one knee board, and one wake surf board.

Ingredients: 2x 3/4 electrical conduit ($3.50), 4x 3/4 fit insulation foam ($1 per)(plumbing section home depot), and 6x 3/4 ceiling clamps ($0.50 per).
