I heard rumors about it not being a full sized cable park, whatever that means. I don't know how big the other ones are because I've never been to a cable park.
The company my brother works for has appraised this property three times, once for the city and twice for the developer. He says that there is no way in this will ever get built.
cable park, not waterpark. a few thousand would not happen or what would be point? you would get one hfall, then b done for the day. i never saw more then 60 or 70 people at a cable park at one time and worked @tsr all last summer. throughout a full day u may have 2 to 3hundred come through on a really good day
It's supposedly supposed to be much more than a cable park. Artificial surf waves (flowrider style), rafting, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, canyoneering, rock climbing, and wakeboarding.
It's done... wrong time in history... it could have been built about three years ago, but not any time in the next five years. The commercial/residential/resort real estate industry will not facilitate this project.
We should rename this the Arizona Graveyard because the fact that they need at least $250 million in this economic climite is highly unlikely especially since it sounds closer to $750 million being the real cost a this point. I was pumped on this project for sure and sad to see it go.
