Hey all, I've just started a new blog looking to showcase the best in board graphics. I mean all boards too, not just wakeboards, but skate, snow, kite and whatever else. Anyone interested in submitting concept artwork, shots of their boards, steezy action shots (showing off the board), info about the artist etc etc just get in touch. Visit and check it out - http://deckxhibit.blogspot.com/ Thanks!

I always loved that old school Trip artwork. Reminds me alot of the art that ...Lost incorporates into their products.

Hey Kevin, That'd be so cool. Byerly stuff has such a distinctive style. I had a quick search there and couldn't find your post. What's the name of the guy or what's his site url? Anyone know the name of Ricky G's tattoo artist? I know he does all Ricky's boards too. Cheers!

I love the TFD graphics. I have always thought it was one of the sickest looking boards for that year model

I wouldn't mind having a few of those blimished boards to hang on the wall at the lake house. Great unique art work at its finest. They should come up with some fake boards and sell them as art work. I bet a lot of people would buy them. Help stimulate the economy.

Thanks for that Ricky. I'll see about putting together an Artist Feature on him and his work by contacting him or web research. David, ebay is pretty cool for picking out old boards. Maybe you could find one or two there. There are also a few companies out there that will implement designs onto skate decks, and they're quite reasonable. Not as good as seeing it on a wakeboard, but still. Plus, I've a few ideas for the Deckxhibit blog, one being a board design contest. I'll keep everyone posted on that.

Very cool blog, I have been a designer in the wake industry for almost 16 years and have done board graphics for such companies as: Ronix, Hyperlite, FullTilt, Slingshot, and Jstar just to name a few. I think the wake industry has grown leaps and bounds (especially creatively) as of late and am very excited to see where graphics are headed in the upcoming years. I will go through my backup hard drive and post some of my more memorable graphics from the past. Blaze

saw an interesting thing on the Co. website/blog on the history of skate shoes... not sure if it really goes or not with your blog as it (your site) is focusing on boards? i also started thinking that maybe the ol' Bad Ass wakeboard bindings might serve well for a subject matter on your site. the first (and only) bindings to ever feature graphics. very narly graphics at that too

Hey Jeremy, Yeah, I saw that. I'll see about including it alright, although I don't want the blog to become too general, and therefore harder to manage. The Bad Ass binding idea is good though. I'll have a think about all this. Thanks again for your input Jeremy. Just PM-ed you there. Anyone else have any more suggestions send 'em on! Thanks!
