We were on the water Thursday night, Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday! I am so sun burnt and tired but it was all worth it. I can officially say that i can ride switch comfortably now. And for everyone having trouble doing it, all the advice people gave on here is right, JUST DO IT! i got my surface 180s down and now im starting to work on my w2w 180s and 360s. My buddy came so close to landing a tantrum it wasn't even funny. but as the weekend wore on, he just kept getting more and more tired so never got it, but he will.
No not yet Jesse(great name by the way). I figured i should start with w2w 180s and 360s first. Unless it would be better to start with the tantrum first? I wanna try inverts so bad, but i wanna progress right, i dont really wanna go jumping around and skipping steps that will help me in the long run, ya know?
congrats! Lately I've been riding about 90% switch when I get out to ride. It's taken a while, but it's finally starting to pay off. I'm now fairly consistent on switch HS BS 180's switch TS 360 and have landed a few switch Backrolls and Half-cab Rolls. I'm still riding one in on my rope than where I want to ride, but switch TS is just so weird I want to make sure I stay in control before extending the rope.
Keep it up. I know for me, it's made riding much more interesting and fun.
