Hate to be cynical, but I'll believe it when I see it. January 2008? If it was that close to the opening date, there would have been talk all over the Tampa area. I don't buy it. If this is truly going to open in Jan. 2008, this guy has got to do a lot better job of marketing.

I heard they are still working on the permits. What is up with bliss. I went to lol marine and was told the bliss sports dude was not there right now but he would give us a call because we wanted lessons.

YES!! a cable park in Tampa is coming
Tampa Waterplex will be located in Mango Fl. 2 minutes from the the I-4 and I-75 interchange. (exit 10 on i-4)
The park plans are in the permitting and county approval phase and hopefully will be approved within the next two months. (this is no easy task,lots of cash and time)
Once construction begins we will need about 5 months to be ready to open. The website will become operational and have updates as soon as all the county red tape is cleared. You haven't seen any marketing yet because the parks fate is still in the governments hand and money will be tight. Hope to see everyone out there next year!!!

McCormicks isn't 2 minutes away from I-4/I-75, you talking about that small lake on MLK between Williams and Lakewood??? Mike, drop me a line if you need any help with web/graphic design. My wife does it and we live on the same exit, right around the corner.

Completely understand. I hope everything goes as smooth as possible. We could definitely use something like this in this area.

I will try and keep the discussion board posted as we move forward. At this point expect an update within the next month. I met with my engineers for four hours today and all looks to be on track.
