Riders Choice Voting - Top 10 Reasons To Do It

Every year we beg our discussion board readers to get their votes in for the Riders Choice Awards, yet only a fraction of you actually do it. So here are the top ten reasons why you should vote for the Riders Choice Awards today!

Why are these conducted before nationals and worlds. There is still wakestock also. If someone does well in those it would change my voting. Especially rookies. Who would you put there at this point? Now if one of them stomps it in the next 2 months that would be a huge difference.

We're not looking for riders that just do well in contests. We're looking for your favorite riders whether they be contest riders or freeriders. Scott Byerly consistently shows up in the top ten for wakeboarders, but he hasn't really competed in years.

In addition, August is our busiest month of the year. After that, traffic starts tapering off, so we want to make sure the maximum number of people are here to make their opinions known.

One of these years you should reverse the order alphabetically (i.e. JD Webb would be near the top of the list, while Atkinson would be at the bottom). I have wondered how much clicking the link and seeing 2 Bonifay's right near the top increases their popularity in the voting. It would be interesting to see if it changed anything or not.

Sean, I was thinkin the same thing! He has improved so much in the last few years! From DS1 to DS2 its unreal to see how much he has improved! Have you ever seen DS1 or DS2??J/k He has soooo much style!! I love to watch him ride! I was lookin for him for my top ten!

Loren, I feel ya since I'm a Williams and have been at the back of the line all my life. It would be interesting to try, but it just might confuse the hell out of people too. Maybe I'll try alphabetizing by first name.
