Info on a board?

Got a friend thats about 6'2 and 220lbs that needs a board..he is fairly new...any info as far as size, brand, where to get it? Price range 250-350...

Check out a Hyperlite Era 142 or a CWB Faction 144. At his size, I recommend at least a 140, but a 144 would be a good fit. Also, don't waste time on a beginner board. Might want to check out 2006 closeouts if he's looking for a package (incl. bindings) deal for that price range. Check out buywake, wakeside, boardco, grizzly-sports, ebay, any search. Support your local boardshop if there's one near you.

Go to wakeside.com and look at how they have their board selection setup. There are tones of websites that he can go look at, all you have to do is click on one of the advertisements that are on this website, but i am not sure if there is another site with a similar setup. Just scroll over a board and you can see some basic characteristics on the board (very quick and easy). When you select a board they will have a sizing chart tab that you can just click on. He will probable need something thats is 140 cm plus. I suggest that he just gets something that he likes (looks and characteristics). A closeout deal might be the way for him to go. You will get a lot of mixed answers with with your questions.
