New bindings tight across the toes... advice?

I just warranteed my bindings for a pair of '06 Eras. The bindings feel great, just how I like them to fit, except accross the toes. Right where my toes come out of the bindings, the Era's dig in to the tops of my feet. Do you think the beer bottle trick will cut it? I doubt if I can even get bottles in there it's so tight. Any other suggestions? They're size MD-LG, maybe go up to a LG?

The bottle will work.

Heat up the bindings in the tub; Lube it up; shove it in there!

You might have to start with something smaller such as a Redbull

eras are made to fit narrow feet
