First day on the lake with the little guy. Had to wait for his lifevest to come in. Thanks again to somebody who posted about this stern lifevest on here. Was the best one we could find and he seemed to like it. Had a little bit of a diaper castastrophe at the beginning but it was smooth sailing after that.

Little mans sleeping in the last pic? It always amazed me watching my kids fall asleep on the cushions while the boat was bouncing around. They can sleep anywhere.

Brings back many good memories Brenner, our two boys grew up in the boat, sleeping under the dash or passenger footwell. Seems like the rougher the water, the better they sleep! Good times ahead for you.

A good fitting life vest is so key to their happiness, I remember those days. They are happy until the chop really kicks in. Now my daughter wants to spend more time in the water than on the boat.

Nice trunks by the way. I think I recognize that pattern!!!!

Oh yeah! CIRE is pretty much the only way to go when your 6'3"

It took a while to find that stearn life vest. I guess there aren't to many life vests out there for the 4 week babies.

Where did you find yours? I saw them at Wal-Mart the week before my daughter was born should have grabbed one then but my wife said to wait till after she was born now they are out and have no idea what I am talking about when I ask them. Didn't see them on Stern's website either. We have one that works but she is not the happiest girl when she has it on can't say I blame her. Congrats to you and your family we had our's on July 20th and she has been on the boat almost everyday since we got out of the hospital.

Yeah we had to find it on Ebay. It really was the best one we could find beside some silly net looking one from a Canadian company for like $70. Only cost $10 on ebay and was new with tags.

Yeah I think we got a deal on ours but it's worth it if you had to spend a little more. Really good lifevest for an infant in my opinion.

Pediatrician said we were good to go. I mean we not exactly hitting double ups or anything so I wouldn't see the ride being any rougher than an automobile.

yeah so you just be careful, dont hit rollers, or you slow the speed, dont put the music too loud and at least dont drink too much !

thats awesome! we had my little brother out pretty young too, now he's 8 and will wakeboard until you eventually have to make him stop so someone else can go, haha. I think most of the time if you start them that young they grow up to love it
