That's way more confusing than it needed to be. Even out your weight a little bit, don't put it all on the back, unless you want to do stargazers all the time. The two biggest factors are the edge and the flick. When you edge, you want your body to be as straight as possible, not crouched like you are edging at the wake. Get your shoulders back and keep your hips up, with the handle in close to your hips. The flick is what releases you from the water, and your want to scoop your front foot downward, very quickly. Keep in mind you have to do the flick all at once, there is no half-assing it. If you delay, you will catch your edge before you even leave the water. I have no idea what the C shape thing tony mentioned is all about. Once you get it, you'll never fall on one again.
