haha anybody see the preview for the new friday the 13th? teens are wakeboarding on Crystal lake and jason crashes their party AGAIN!

just cool to see another main stream wake scene..

well i didnt see a trailer and didnt hear about it until i was watching tv tonight and saw the actual teaser on tv !

3 months ago i guess i was busy wakeboarding! :-)

you're right...i wasn't wakeboarding 3 months ago when i first saw the trailer. i don't normally cruise the net when i'm riding.

seriously our site over in dallas,tx didnt mention it all this is the first I heard of the movie coming out period..maybe you Cali folks get news faster :P

Im busy at work and wakeboarding in the summers so my summers are crazy busy ,it must have slipped by somehow..

nah, i actually saw the trailer on yahoo and posted it here. and the "3 months" might have been a bit of an exaggeration.

It was filmed at lake Bastrop.

A few months ago, I was sent a casting call for Maria. It was for a body double that was proficent on a wakeboard and would go topless. She passed. Pay was a whopping $200 bucks or so.

I do wonder who took the money though. There are not many chicks that can really ride and are willing to go topless for next to nothing. The casting call, if I remember correctly, was pretty harsh too. Like: If you can't ride don't waste our time.

Anybody know who the "star" is???

Believe it if you want but my cousin is the girl who is wakeboarding. I didn't know it until I noticed it was her in the movie. She plays as Chelsea. Her name is Willa Ford.
