How is Dallas riding? Is she back to her old self or is she still recuperating? I know Butler is throwing down but I haven't heard if Dallas is riding like she use to.

Nicola told me that Dallas stuck her pass? She was awesome at Masters and I heard she was riding pretty good in Texas.

Hey Randy, please don't take offence but David Hair explained it well in an earlier post and the only reason I know is because I asked Chris Bishof in Georgia when Nic got 100 there. It is not so much scoring the maximum but being the best in every category in your heat. Best spins, air, rails etc. That's how you end up with a 100.If somebody, anybody, in the heat is better than you in one of the 5 categories you won't score a 100

I dont know what Dallas did but I think she stood up. Nicola told me what she did but I cant really remember. Something like this. 911, whirly, moby dick ,heel 5, tootsie, frontroll, scarecrow, batwing and a 3 or maybe blind 3. Obviously not in that order either. Killed it on the rails, apparently. Also stood her pass.

That makes sense scoring a 100 based off competition. I havent read into how the scoring works. I was just curious how close it was. Props to both riders, they put me to shame. Keep it up!

my run was like this... frontlip the rooftop rail, 911, frontroll, heel 3, batwing, moby dick. Second pass, whirly, indy scarecrow, heel 5, gap the a frame, tootsie roll, back board to backlip on the rooftop. died on a backside 5 attempt at the dock!

You can't necessarly judge how close the runs were by the scores. Dallas rode before Nicola and was given a score relative to the other riders. They could not give Dallas a 100 because they had to leave room to give the remaining riders higher scores if their runs were deserving. If Nicola had not done so well Dallas would have won with a 79.25 score. I am not taking anything away from Nicola, she was clearly the best and her run was flawless. But the way the judging has been explained to me is that if Nicola rode before Dallas her score would have been less than 100 because they have to leave room in case the next/remaining riders do better. They do not wait until all the riders have completed their runs to give the score. My son is in Junior Men, on Friday and Saturday he had stand-up runs. Fridays runs included a Bat Wing,a Switch TS OA 540, and a Half-cab Back Roll, on Satuday he replace those with a BW to Blind, and a Switch TS OA 7, and a Switch Back Mobe, yet his score went down by 7 points. When I asked one of the judges how that could happen he said it was just because of position off the dock and the performance of previous riders. "Don't look at the points, all that matters is the placement"

Leo, Phil was 1st in his heat on both Friday and Saturday. Didn't ride quiet as well on Sunday in the Semi's. I was not complaining, just trying to explain the scoring system. He could have made finals if he didn't fall on the 7 on Sunday and then landed his final trick. At least it would have been close.

hahah didnt mean to hijack or whatever just wanted to clear it up cuz my run obviously wasn't 'Something like this. 911, whirly, moby dick ,heel 5, tootsie, frontroll, scarecrow, batwing and a 3 or maybe blind 3' as my dad said. That would involve a lot of wakecrossing!
