well, I've decided to wait to get a new or slightly used Malibu VLX or 23 LSV.
I'm going to see how many hours that I actually have time to spend on the water this season. I have opened on Sunday at my main location. It has consumed my time.
for now, my 1979 SS will have to do
here is my current setup...and the new toy that should be delivered any day now

Sweet new Zl1! Did you go with the new A10 of 6 Speed? I've been following the 1LE development.

I went with the 10 speed. I know that there are those firmly in the manual camp that would scoff.....but I can't wait to get it. As soon as I take possession, I'm taking it to have some Expel clear bra and ceramic coating put on it

The 10 speed is for sure going to be faster than the 6 speed...there is a video online of the drivers rolling the nurbugring at 170 in a turn shifting into 8th gear crazy..
Go sign up for some HPDE events you will have a blast!

It's the Z06 'Vette Supercharged LT4
650 HP 650ftlbs....stock
Chevy and Ford went together to develop the 10 speed. The final 2 gears are the same as the 8 speed. They put 2 gears somewhere in the middle. I believe that the Raptor gets it first for Ford

Raptor gets the 10 speed with paddle shifters and regular F150 gets the 10 speed with no paddle shifters

Great car! I’m assuming b/c it’s a “toy” you’re not driving it daily? I quit using paint protection films and ceramic coatings on my non-daily drivers. I looked at the cost….usually close to $3k (was not using the pre-cut templates, looks like garbage b/c of the lines) and it just wasn’t justified based on the mileage I put on the cars. Ceramic coating is just a scam imo….keep the car waxed/washed…and you don’t’ need it. My detail guy actually thought I had a ceramic coating on my current weekend car…nope , just spray wax, lol. All expel PPF did was keep micro nicks in my bumper from happening. On my first lambo I had a small rock go right thru the xpel (was right when expel came out, as they touted its self-healing properties). I now pay abt $150/yr to have my bumper touched up and corrected. Looks brand new. Most of the guys I go on car rallies with usually replace their PPF after every rally (5-700 miles).

thanks for the comments Adam!
I drove it up to visit my daughter at O.U. a few days ago. Car is amazing. I can't wait to get the 1500 mile break in over with.
I'm taking it to Austin in a couple of weeks for the Chris Botti concert, then to OKC the next day for the Joel Walsh concert. That should take care of the break in....

I don't anticipate using the line lock, until I'm on the way to buy new tires.
I'm just now through the break in mileage. So, I'm getting on it a bit harder now. This car is a beast. It's everything that they've written about it.!!
That's cool Pound. I might have to make a trip to the local HL. Hopefully they have one

Congrats on your new whip. I bet your loving it. Love the grill and the over sized air ducts. And yes I agree, the line lock cool! but Um no thanks, I'm sure you can melt the rear tires with the flick of your right foot you don't need a electronic aid to help you, plus I'm sure you can have a lot more fun destroying tires drifting that thing then staying in one spot and melting down. It would be cool to hear the exhaust note or super charger whine under a heavy pull.
