The Wakeboarding Hall of Fame Facebook page has been putting up so many great videos lately! Watch Parks Bonifay, Jeremy Kovak, Scott Byerly and Dean Lavelle compete for X Games gold back in the first X Games in 1996.
I love that they said "Scott hasn't had a win in a long time, this will mean a lot to his career if he can pull this off." Turns out the win wasn't all the important to his career.
True Andy! What's even funnier is Scott had won the year before & set 2 WR's on the Pro Tour, and then about a month after the 1996 X-Games, won the Portland Pro Tour stop.
