WakeWorld photographer Randy Murray and I recently had a chance to sneak out of the office and out to the river for a couple of days of sun, fun and even a little wakeboarding. We were fortunate to be joined by Ashley Leugner and Raequel Hoffman, so the talent pool of our crew was deepened significantly. The girls were great to have along and put up with a little wind, a rattlesnake, bats and some lesser talented wakeboarders (me).
However, the rest of the weekend went well. We found a large piece of foam floating in the river and decided to throw together a (very) little A-frame with the limited resources we could find. It was pretty rough, but the girls were brave enough to throw their safety to the wind and give it a few hits. I think they were just being nice because I spent all of 30 minutes putting it together and they didn't want me to think I had wasted my time.
When we weren't wasting time on that, the girls were carving up some amazing morning butter while Randy clicked away. Below are the results, affirming my earlier claim about how talented these girls are.
