Randy Cozens, owner of X~Stream Wake Boarding Pools, has created the Wake Rider, which features wakeboarding, wakeskating and wakesurfing and is now becoming the new wake of the future!

Kids at a young age are now learning how to wakeboard and snowboard instead of water skiing and snow skiing. Water skiing and snow skiing are now considered to be old school, boring and a thing of the past! Not cool! In addition, wakeskating and wakesurfing have become very popular water sports and that's where the Wake Rider comes into play!

Randy has created something that has never been done before - an authentic wakeboarding experience that duplicates the exact experience of wakeboarding behind a boat. This pool accommodates every rider from children to professionals in a safe, controlled environment.

The Wake Rider eliminates the outside factors that make the sport more difficult, such as bad weather or heavy boat traffic that creates rough, choppy water. These outside factors could normally cause a variation of speed inconsistency due to rough water conditions. With rough water conditions gone, it only adds to the reasons why someone would want to use the X~Stream Wake Rider.
 
Built inside a water park, resort or simply as its own attraction, the Wake Rider can be used strictly for recreation.

The Wake Rider doesn't have to be a permanent structure. The pool can be designed and built in sections where it can be set up, taken down and shipped from place to place for weekend events such as wakeboard tournaments. Spectators can now view and applaud up close in a stadium setup during wakeboarding competitions!
 
The Wake Rider 600 is a larger tournament-sized pool. Its riding surface has a radius of 50' by 100', creating a half circle. This emulates the same scenario as a wake boarder with a 50-foot ski rope.
 
The Wake Rider features six 125 hp submersible pumps each producing 24,000 Gallons per minute, totaling over 144,000 gallons per minute. The water flow is equal to six average size pools full of water per minute! The pumps push water through a 3-inch nozzle opening, producing a stream of water across the width of the 90-foot pool at speeds of up to 22 mph, which is the ideal speed for wakeboarding!
 
The riding surface of the pool is created by an inflatable air mat that is 12 inches in thickness by 100 ft. in length with a 50-foot radius. The air mat creates a soft, natural feel while having a durable surface that holds up under normal wake boarding use.
 
Built into the mat are two simulated wakes that a boat would normally produce. This mat floats on top of the pool, giving support for the stream of water as well as the riders.
 
If a rider falls or decides to let go, the water carries them off the outer edge of the mat and into a 12 feet wide, 5 foot deep pool. This pool then returns them to shallow water so they can safely exit. The safety of this design also allows a rider to have the typical wakeboard with boots attached.
 
The air mat also has a second option, which is a blow up outer wake that is three feet high at the center. This wake tapers from one corner to the center and back down to the other corner and simulates a boat wake or ocean wave that can be inflated in minutes.
 
The outer wake option allows wakesurfing, wakeskating and boogie boarding to take place. The Wake Rider pool gives the best of both worlds! Randy has also created smaller versions called the Sling Shot model 400 & 300.
