The folks at West Rock Wake Park in Rockford, Illinois have been working hard on filling a full season of events and contests for riders of all ages and abilities. We are excited to get the ball rolling for the 2016 season and would like to share the events we have planned as of now.

1) West Rock will once again be a part of the National Points Chase series. This consists of four different contests to be held at West Rock on two different dates (June 9th & June 30th). Each rider will have a chance to qualify for the National Championship in Orlando, Florida in August. Event pages can be found on Facebook for the June 9 and June 30 events.

2) Trying to stay true to our primitive roots, we have come up with the Pop Lab High Ollie Contest. Does this really need an explanation? This event takes place on August 19th with the finals being held under the lights. An event page can be found on Facebook.

3) The Ladies of West Rock will be holding their annual Wake Bunnies Revolt on July 23rd. This is a day where the guys get kicked out of the park and the ladies take over for a testosterone free day of riding, socializing, and progressing. An event page is still under construction.

4) Back for the second year is The School of West Rock. This is a series of four-day camps for kids between the ages of 7 and 15. There are three camp sessions planned for the season. Please see the West Rock Wake Park website for more info on camps.
