Malibu Boats, the global leader in watersports towboat sales, is proud to welcome NASCAR driver Joey Logano to its stable of brand ambassadors. Logano, the 26-year-old driver from Middletown, Conn., will become the company's first brand ambassador in the Lake Norman, N.C. area, 20 miles north of Charlotte, N.C.
 
Logano, currently in his ninth year as a NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series (MENCS) driver, is a winner of 18 MENCS races, a Daytona 500 champion, and defending winner of the 2016 All-Star race. Logano, who finished runner-up in the 2016 championship points standings, will custom build a 2017 Malibu M235 this month. The Malibu M235 is the most ultra-premium boat of its kind on the market. Introduced in 2016 for customers who accept nothing less than the absolute best and undisputed state of the art in performance, style and luxury. Already the pinnacle of watersports boats, the M235's impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none.
 
When Logano is not on the race track, his competitive spirit carries to the lake, where he's an avid wakesurfer. After the 2017 NASCAR season is over, Logano will auction off his M235, with 100% of all proceeds going to the Joey Logano Foundation (JLF) to invest in organizations offering second chances to children and young adults during times of crisis.

In May, Logano will unveil the customization of his Malibu M235 at Clutch Studios, a local production company in Huntersville, N.C.
