The CIE Spring Ride is back for the six straight year! Join the CIE crew and Malibu Boats at the gorgeous Pines Resort May 7-9, 2010 as they kick off the 2010 wakeboarding season.
The CIE Spring Ride attracts Wakeboarders from all over the Wild West to celebrate the kickoff of the wakeboarding season. Now six years strong, CIE has established this event as a staple in the wake scene. Spring Ride hosts the biggest Double-up contest on the West Coast for professional wakeboarders, a raffle with thousands in prizes, an exhibit of 2010 wakeboard gear, and slammin' after-party that might have you calling in sick on Monday.
The 2010 event will be hosted at The Pines Resort on the majestic Bass Lake. This venue offers comfortable cabin-like accommodations for Spring Riders in a high-mountain setting just a few miles from Yosemite National Park. There is plenty of parking, boat slips for rent, excellent food and friendly staff.
Andrew Adkison, Randall Harris, Trevor Hansen, JD Webb and local stars like Trever Maur, Derek Cook and Jason Callen will attempt to dethrone Spring Ride champs Ricky G and Jimmy LaRiche. Contest riders have two shots at a cash reward: Best Trick and Biggest trick.
During the show, CIE will raffle off wakeboarding gear, clothing, boat audio equipment, wakeboarding instruction and a lot more. Two lucky Spring Riders will also have a chance to spend Sunday morning with a professional rider. Wakeboarding manufacturers like CWB, Hyperlite and Phalanx will be onsite with 2010 products. Malibu Boats and Axis Wake will be onsite with their latest wake-creating machines for you to check out.
